Taxify performs a temporary card verification hold (pre-authorisation) for all newly added bank cards to check validity and minimise/avoid any fraudulent and unauthorised use of your card and information.
This hold may appear as an unknown charge, but it is not an actual charge. In other words, this amount never leaves your bank account; instead, it is held for a certain period by your bank and made available shortly after.
The system may verify your payment details for up to your first five trips. The period of this verification hold may vary, depending on your banking institution. For any disputes or request, please contact your bank.
