Sydney Domestic and International Airport Information

When picking up passengers from Sydney airport there are dedicated pickup areas for both the Domestic (T2/T3) and International terminals (T1) and one waiting area that must be used.

Pickup locations and fees

From either the Domestic or International terminals, pickups can only be done from the designated Green Priority Pickups areas. Refer to map below for details.

Sydney Airport will automatically charge a fee to your e-TAG based on the amount of time that you have spent in the Priority Pickup zone (see the list below for fee breakdown). As most passenger pickups take less than 15 minutes, passengers will be automatically charged $4.20 for trips from Sydney Airport to cover the Priority Pickup fee.

  • 0 - 15 min > $4.20
  • 16 - 30 min > $8.40
  • 31 - 60 min > $21.00
  • 61 - 120 min > $30.70
  • 121 - 180 min > $39.60
  • 181+ mins > $71.40

Refer to the Sydney Airport Priority Pickup area fees Domestic Terminal and International Terminal for further information.

Do not attempt to pick up a passenger from any other area, including the Express Pickup zone since this is now designated for the use of private vehicles only, not ride-share vehicles. Drivers who are found to breach these new rules may be fined by the airport authorities when discovered.

Waiting area

There is only one waiting area to be used for both the Domestic and International terminals and as priority orders are allocated to driver-partners inside the designated waiting area. Therefore, to receive requests it’s important that you are located in this area.

To be placed in the queue you need to be in the waiting area on the north of Ross Smith Avenue, opposite the Executive Jet base.

Accepting trip requests

Once you have accepted a trip request from Sydney airport, we suggest you call the rider to confirm they are ready to be picked up and to wait for you at the correct pickup area. Do not drive to the pickup area if your passenger is delayed as you may end up waiting too long and being charged extra pickup fees.

If a passenger cancels

If a passenger cancels a trip after you have left the waiting area you should return to the waiting area to receive further orders.
