Removing a Card

To remove a payment method from your account, please follow these steps:

  • Select the profile icon in the menu bar
  • Choose the Payments option
  • Tap on Edit in the upper right corner
  • Find the method you would like to remove and tap on the red X next to it.

If you want to add a card, please refer to Adding a Payment Method.


  • You cannot remove your card if there is a pending payment on your Bolt ride-hailing account
  • You cannot remove your card if it is the only payment option on your account
  • Removing the card from Food app will also remove the same payment card from ride-hailing app
  • All data linked to your payment method is stored encrypted and kept private.
