Contactless Delivery

As coronavirus cases continue to spread throughout the world, Bolt Food wants to highlight the measures that we as a company are taking to minimise the spread of the virus. The services are functioning as normal. We’re also ready to work with local health authorities, should the situation require it.

We have, however, implemented mandatory full contactless delivery. This means: 

  • No direct contact among our restaurant and courier partners and our customers
  • Restaurant employees must avoid giving food to couriers directly into their hands
  • Couriers must avoid direct contact with customers
  • Customers should specify and prepare the place where they would like couriers to leave the food. For example, you can leave a note: A CHAIR, TABLE, PAPER etc. 

We encourage you to always specify where couriers should leave your order because there will be no other option to deliver the food. Such notes can be added during the last step when placing the order!

Why are we being so strict?

We want to ensure the safety of our customers and partners and, according to the current situation, we believe that having only one available option will help us to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

How should I let the courier know where I want to receive my order?

You should leave a note for your courier in the last step when placing an order in the app.

What if I don’t want to use this contactless delivery method?

To prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) we’ve decided to go contactless for all orders. This is currently the only available delivery option.

What should I do if I can’t contact the courier?

Please reach out to our Customer Support team. They will be happy to help you. Due to high volumes, our answer may take a bit more time, but we will do our best to resolve all possible issues ASAP.
