I was involved in a safety incident in South Africa

If you were involved in a serious incident or accident and your or your rider's life is in danger, please use the SOS button in the app to notify the local emergency services. Our Support team will be also notified and will handle the case as a matter of high urgency.

To claim insurance cover for medical and other expenses, contact Oaksure Customer Care Call Centre via phone number 087-049-2855 (086-162-5787) or email address boltclaims@oaksure.co.za. Please provide them with the trip details and a phone number linked to your Bolt account and follow their instructions.

Please note that the loss of personal items is only covered if an incident (hijacking, vehicle accident) occurs.
