Checking Pickup Type

Incoming orders already paid by the customer through the Bolt Food app are cashless pickups. These orders are tagged as Bolt payment. Don’t take money.


Incoming orders from a customer who will pay for the order using the cash payment option are cash pickups. These orders are highlighted with a yellow tag.


When a courier arrives at your location, collect the payment for the order from them, provide them with a receipt and click the Received button to indicate that they settled the amount. 

If the courier is not able to make a full payment for the order, they may switch to a cashless pick-up. This process can take up to 20 seconds to come into effect. 

Once the status has been updated, please proceed to issue the order as usual.
