Issues with a promotion

In case you have issues when using a promo code, make sure that:

  • Your promo code or discount hasn’t expired
  • You are applying it to a ride-hailing request and not to a rental trip (scooters, e-bikes)
  • You are using the latest app version. 
  • Referral codes:
    • Can only be redeemed by new customers who don’t share a payment method or a device with an existing customer
    • Must be applied by the new customers before requesting their first-ever journey on the platform.

Here are a few more things to keep in mind:

  • A promo code given for a ride in a particular country cannot be applied to a trip in another country
  • Two or more promo codes cannot be applied at once
  • If you change the payment method, the code will need to be reselected
  • If the value of the promo code is higher than the trip price, the remaining amount cannot be used for another trip
  • If your promotion covers the full price of your trip, we may still perform a card authorisation to validate your payment method
  • Some percentage-based discounts can have a maximum amount that is deducted.
