Rider left an item in a vehicle in the UK

Please check if a passenger left any personal belongings in the vehicle after each trip. If you find any lost item:

  • And you know who left it: contact the passenger via the app. You will have 24 hours to use the call option in the ride history to reach out to the passenger.
  • And you are not sure who left the item in the car: notify our Support team about the item and follow their instructions
  • And a phone was left: notify our Support team about the item and follow their instructions.

Additional information for drivers who are licensed in Leicester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham, and Peterborough:

  • If you were able to reach the passenger, please make sure to return the item to them within 24 hours
  • If you were unable to reach the passenger, please take the lost property to the nearest Police Station within 24 hours of the trip. Leave it in the custody of the person in charge and obtain a receipt for it.

Additional information for drivers who are licensed in Birmingham, Walsall or Sandwell:

  • Please try to return the item to the passenger
  • If you were unable to reach the passenger, please take the lost property to the local police station

Additional information for drivers who are licensed in Dudley:

  • Please take the lost property to the Dudley Council licensing office

Additional information for drivers who are licensed in Solihull:

  • Any identifiable lost property must be handed in at a local police station. 
    • Examples: driving licences, passports, wallets/purses, mobile phones, laptops, etc.
  • Non-identifiable and perishable lost property should be taken to the Birmingham Hub

Additional information for drivers who are licensed in Wolverhampton: 

  • Please try to return the item to the passenger
  • If you were unable to reach the passenger, please take the lost property to the Birmingham Hub.
