AdBlue (a diesel exhaust fluid) is used in our diesel vehicles Volkswagen Arteon and Volkswagen Crafter. The AdBlue fluid needs to be topped up if the vehicle's dashboard shows an AdBlue error with the remaining range in kilometres and a yellow AdBlue warning light is on.
You can buy AdBlue fluid at a Circle K gas station and use the fuel card to pay. Note that the AdBlue fluid is not available at all Circle K stations - please check their website to find the nearest station where AdBlue is available.
You will find the AdBlue tank behind the fuel flap. Unscrew the blue AdBlue tank cap and top up the AdBlue fluid, then screw it back securely to avoid any leaks. Do not pour AdBlue fluid in the diesel tank – this can result in heavy mechanical damage to the car.
If it is not possible for you to top up the AdBlue fluid, or the car won't start due to an AdBlue system error (signalled by a red AdBlue dashboard warning light), please contact our Support team via the app.
